We’re excited to be partnering with linocut artist Rachel Miller to host a Beginner Linocut Workshop at Bedouin!
Linocut is a printmaking technique where you carve a design into a linoleum block, creating a handmade stamp that can be used to make prints. Perfect for beginners, this workshop will guide you through choosing a design (use a provided pattern or create your own!), learning the basics of carving your block, and using ink to print your design on cardstock. Use your handmade stamp(s) to create designs for cards, wrapping paper, fabric and more, with skills you can continue exploring at home!
The $60 class fee covers all materials needed. No need to bring anything but yourself! Each attendee's linoleum block can accommodate two or more stamps, giving you the opportunity to create multiple designs. We’ll also have complimentary sips and snacks, and attendees will receive 10% off purchases at Bedouin that day. Spots are limited to 15 participants.
