Inspired by things she sees and experiences in her daily life, Elizabeth VanDuine takes photographs, sketches, and then cuts images out of a single piece of black paper with an x-acto knife. Nature’s complexity, beauty, and ability to elicit emotion inform and inspire her every day, and her affinity for all living things manifests in every piece of art I create.
